Third Party Testing and Lab Results

Pure Kana posts a recent third-party lab report on each product page of its website. You can access the lab results by clicking the link next to the “lab report” section of the product page. They do not currently offer the ability to view the lab report for your specific product based on a unique batch number or QR code.

Pure Kana’s third-lab testing is performed by Ace Analytical Laboratory in Las Vegas, Nevada. The lab results for their tinctures indicate that they have a full spectrum of cannabinoids but undetectable levels of terpenes. They also show that the products are tested for pesticides, microbials, heavy metals and mycotoxins. But residual solvents are not included in the testing.

    Every step of the way was shady.
    I ordered a “deal” that should have been a little over $100. There was no check out page after I filled my credit card info- you know, to verify price, promo codes etc. It just processed the order. I got an email from them with my purchase at over $250!
    My bank flagged it and didn’t process it so the order didn’t go through. My bank asked if I tried to do this purchase, if not I had to get a new card but if I said I did then I would have to try to order the product again.
    Pure Kana, several hours later, ran my order again, without my consent.
    I got the email in and within 20 minutes and responded that I didn’t want the product and that I didn’t order it.
    I received a response 24 hours later explaining the order was already out. I could refuse the package as long as it was unopened.
    I got the package – it arrived practically opened! I’m surprised nothing fell out. Shady

    Only 20 gummies!!! After taxes and shipping $70
    Felt effects first time I took one
    Next day I again took 1, No Effect!!
    The store online charges$89 for 60 gummies
    3 X more than I received
    Poor quality
    As an MD I do not recommend this product, too expensive for an unreliable outcome!!!

    1. Yes, I have a bottle that reads Premium CBD Gummies Vegan Gummies 25mg CBD/Gummy Dietary Supplement 40 Vegan Gummies. I was sent 3 bottles. When you turn the bottle to Supplement Fact it reads Serving Size 1 Gummy. Servings Per Container 20. What wait what? Yes! The thing is I ordered the 1000mg. I took this info to PureKana they told me they sent me the 1000mg that’s why they sold me the 3 bottles. Okey, can you imagine how many gummies I have to eat to equal 1000mg at 25mg each. They need to be turned in for FRAUD!
      I am battling it out with my Amazon Credit Card behind me at this moment.

  3. BUYER BEWARE. This company has the worst company service and are thieves. They owe me a credit, which they never credited to my CC, lied said they did, when I sent proof of no receipt, they said they would escalate to “front offices”. Crickets. No responses to my contined emails. This has been going on since April 2020. Filed with Arizona BBB, PureKana never replied to the BBB’s email.

  4. I couldn’t resist the Black Friday prices I was receiving in my email. purchased 2 bottles of tincture. I can’t complain about the order, the shipping was a little slow but my biggest complaint is the quality. I purchased the 1000 mg and honestly don’t feel any different. I have even doubled up on the dosage. Did they forget to add the CBD? I’ve purchased from several different suppliers with great results. I only purchased from Kana to save a few bucks. Big mistake that will not happen again.

  5. I tried ordering Purekana oil 1000mg through their website and my debit card was denied. I keyed it in again knowing I have more than enough in my account and denied again. Got out my credit card and keyed that number and got the message that the card was denied by the issuer. Ridiculous! Obviously there’s something wrong with Purekana’s website and after reading all these negative reviews I’m actually happy my order didn’t go through. Guess I’ll just stick with Charlotte’s Web CBD oil for now.

  6. I LOVE Pure Kana and have been using it since I was diagnosed with cancer Dec 2017. It elevates my mood and I have been able to go off of my blood pressure medication completely this last year. BIGGEST PROBLEM is for some reason it takes 3 weeks from the time of order until you receive the order. Because of this I’m thinking of switching brands

  7. DO NOT recommend Pure Kara CBD topical gel. I used it for low back pain. It minimally reduced pain, not to a comfort level. I do not expect 100% pain free,
    but at least 70% less pain after application of the gel. Its effectiveness lasted less than 2 hours. There is a 30 days satisfaction grantee on website. But
    when I contacted the seller Nuwirl, it said the company would not accept opened product! How can one try the product without opening the container?
    I emailed the company with the same question and my request for refund (Pure Kara products are expensive) I offered to return the unused portion with me paying the postage. Await company’s reply. Next step will be reporting to BBB, and other regulatory government agencies.

  8. I have experienced the same issue as many other users. Purchased the 5000mg “natural” flavored product and received vanilla flavored product. It is most definitely not the 5000mg as they do not make this product flavored and, when I took the product, it did not have the effect it typically does. Horrible quality control and makes me concerned about what product I actually received. This is my 6th order and will not be ordering again.

  9. This company has SCAMMED me out of $86. There product was rancid so I returned within the 30 days. 6 months later still no refund. No record of of my order. I provided my order number and they said the order number changed that’s why they couldnt find it. Now they can’t find my return. Their claim to every email is “it’s been escalated.” I finally got an email that my refund was completed in 5 days. It’s now 60 days and no refund! I contacted them again and can’t get a live person, only emails that keep saying “it’s been escalated.” This company ROBBED me. Their recordkeeping is a disaster.

    1. They scammed me out of almost $500. They don’t deliver on-time. You’ll be waiting forever. They say they shipped this 2 weeks ago, and I still don’t have it. I’m only one state away. After you complain once, they’ll block your number. There are way better CBD products out there.

  10. I recently purchased the CBD topical cream and it has not helped my knees at all. I use it twice a day and still nothing. I was hoping for better results.

  11. Look elsewhere. Used these guys for a few months. Was buying the almost $400 bottle 5000mg CBD which is the most potent and most expensive. Last time they sent me the same bottle but with the wrong product. I ordered unflavored 5000mg but received some product in Vanilla, totally mislabeled. Customer Service said it tasted like vanilla because of their natural ingredients. Made me pay to return the product and never owned up to the mistake. What kills me is that I probably didn’t even receive the right dosage, I just cant trust them.

  12. This is the WORST experience from any CBD oil seller I have ever had! This company Purekana has awful customer service, they don’t ship on time, and when they finally do ship, they are using the cheapest service possible. I ordered this oil over a week ago, still DO NOT have my product! I have now wasted 2 long phone calls trying to resolve this, and no resolution. I asked them for a refund since they took my $130.00+ when I placed the order. They won’t refund my money so my last call is to my bank! This is an awful company. If I ran my business like this, I’d be out of business, as they should be! There are many wonderful sellers of CBD, but Purekana is NOT one of them! Buyer beware!

    1. Same thing happened to me! Ordered the Silver at 30% off. Got it and it was Vanilla flavored. They sent a replacement bottle and it too was vanilla flavored! I bet it’s happened to more than a few people. Who knows what they are putting in the bottles. Piss poor quality control for such an expensive product.

  13. PUREKANA is the slowest company to deliver product I’ve ever used. Have ordered CBD oil from them three times. This last order took over 2 weeks to deliver. Customer service did NOT reply to my requests. There are other companies with equally good product that are also full spectrum and CO2 extraction. PUREKANA is very expensive. But more importantly, you will wait forever for delivery since they will not spend money on standard timely delivery like most online companies today. Worst than that, if you have a complaint, THEY WILL IGNORE YOU. I would strongly suggest that you DO NOT BUY from this company. They have beautiful packaging that you will overpay for. They should spend their dollars on expeditious shipping and customer service instead. I DO NOT recommend PUREKANA.

  14. They are quick to reply to an email on a weekend with information that they are closed, but then on the weekdays they don’t answer your questions. On my third order I was swayed by the 15% off vanilla oil until midnight on the 15th of September. I ordered at 10PM EST and was told the coupon has expired, so I paid the full price and have since sent them 3 or 4 emails about adjusting my charge. They don’t have a phone number that I can find. I am a hopeful person, but am in such pain with my affected knee. Worse than when I started on the PureKana. I will never buy from them again nor will I recommend them to friends. Nice to read that I’m not alone in my criticism of this company.

  15. TERRIBLE service. No replies to emails, order not shipped for 8 days then 4 days later still hasn’t gotten to the post office, “awaiting item.” No resolution, no response, I can’t even reach anyone to cancel it. It’s the second time this has happened. After the first time I swore I wouldn’t order here again. I did, and I regret it. Just terrible. Feels like downright fraud. I’ve had great experience with Nuleaf Naturals and will be going back to them. Avoid this company.

  16. I tried to cancel my order and they said they “couldn’t”, and that I had to return it after delivery. What company can’t cancel a payment? A fraudulent and desperate one, that’s who. Back to Bluebird Botanicals for me!

  17. I started with PureKana and have found them to be good. At the time I didn’t know about the lab reports, but now that I do that has me a bit worried. I use their 600 mg sublingual oil. I also use their mint vape pen. It was the first vape pen I tried and it works really well for me. I’ve been trying some others because it is expensive, but it was a nice to use them first. Cumstomer service and shipping have been good too!

  18. I’m sorry, but without lab reports freely available on their website they cannot claim that they provide detailed and fully transparent product information. The only report I could find is a single one hidden on their Q&A page that is from 2018. Most of their competition have current reports available online for all of their products and even for every batch they make. PureKana seriously lacks in the “being transparent” department. You can write anything you want on your website and packaging but without independent lab reports, it really is not worth the label it’s written on. With the CBD oil industry being so unregulated not having lab reports freely available does not look good for their company. When you try to leave a review on their website it says “Sorry, comments for this product is closed.” I just do not like the way this company does business. Very dodgy.

  19. Well my first order went through in a few days I had my cbd oil. I tried ordering the second time and no go. When I try to put my visa number in it gets all glitchy. It types it’s own numbers in so I deleted the numbers that are not mine and retype. Same thing so I contacted customer service they said try again there working on it. The product is good but they have software problems. Purekana gummies work good and the oil. They lost out on $330.00 because of the site.

  20. For days now I have been trying to get a lab report for a specific product that I purchased from this company. They keep on giving me the runaround. The report on their website is outdated and only for one product. Other companies have a lab report on their website for every product and batch. The fact that it is so difficult to get a lab report from PureKana makes me very suspicious about their products and practices.

  21. I never received my product. The envelope was delivered empty. And after several emails and pictures Pure Kana support team decided to ghost me. They took my money and now won’t even reply. This is the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I would never recommend this company!

  22. I’m glad that Precious showed me what kind of company you actually have. Though she is pleasant, she is not helpful. I attempted to place an order of almost $800 via the web site. First, the site would not allow me to log in with my known user name and password, so I reset it. Then it would not allow me to log in with my user name and reset password. I finally decided to order as a guest. Payments would not go through and I contacted my credit card company regarding this. I called in and spoke with Precious (twice). Credit card company states that none of the 3 attempts to purchase showed up on their end though the order site told me the payment had been declined. I tried another credit card with the same results. I attempted to work with Precious regarding the issues indicating that it appears to be an issue with the website and IT should be contacted and requested to speak with a supervisor. Precious stated the supervisor would only tell me the same thing. If this is the service you choose to give, I can take my money elsewhere. You are not the only company providing this product at this quality. WOW, way to loose a large transaction!

    1. I have had a very similar problem. I bought three or four oil bottles without any issue. But on my fifth bottle, their website returned a message that my card had been declined. Tried all my cards, same result. My husband tried to purchase with his cards, same result. We know it is not our cards because we called the banks. So I called them. I could not complete the purchase through the phone. The representative said she would “escalate” the problem to a supervisor, and that I should expect a call. It has been two weeks, several e-mails, and several calls, and I have not been able to make another purchase. Pity because they have a good product (at least for me), but terrible customer service.

  23. Got my first order in 4 days and all arrived good. Got the 1000mg mint oil, 1000mg natural flavor, 300mg mint and a bottle of gummies. We have used other brands of CBD that are not as good as Pure Kana. These gummies help relax me and helps with sleep. The 1000mg I use about 5 drops for pain 3 times a day and it helps a great deal. I have degenerative disc disease, sciatic pain no feeling in my foot and heel. This brand by PUREKANA works good. You have to give CBD a chance to get into your system. We also use CBD balm so we have it in our system. So Purekana is working good for us and the oil is so pure and and no chemicals. Sorry to hear some have had problems. I’m getting so relaxed writing this I’m about to fall asleep. We use these products more for evening to relax and calm down.

  24. First two orders went without a hitch. Oil was good. My third order seemed to go through just as problem-free as the first two. After 10 days waiting for delivery, I went onto the website to track the package. Found that the order had never gone through. It said “payment pending.” Called customer service. They said my credit card had been declined twice to their automated system. I said “Why was I never notified? I’ve been waiting for shipment.” No explanation. The customer service rep insisted I call my credit card company, even though I said it’s not even possible it was declined. Credit card company verified they never declined any transaction ever, and had never received a payment request from Pure Kana other than the previous two orders. Proof positive Pure Kana’s system is faulty. Called customer service again. The rep insisted Pure Kana bears no responsibility for its error and showed no interest in making it right. His “helpful” advice was just to try ordering again. I’m supposed to trust that it will work this time, even though their software not only made the insulting error of rejecting my credit card without actually contacting my credit card company, but also neglected to inform me (I checked — there was no message in my spam folder, either). That’s a deal-breaker for me, as it should be for anyone. A company with a decent business model owns up to its mistakes and tries to compensate for the inconvenience.

  25. Purekana sent me a bottle of CBD Oil that I purchased. I could not open the bottle and believe me I had a few people try. I immediately emailed them telling them of this situation. They got back to me 3 days later saying they were sorry. I tried to cut the plastic band off to see if that would help and it did not. I replied again telling them the same thing, they replied 2 days later asking for photos, which I sent and never heard back. This has been going on for 3 weeks after I received my bottle and sent my initial complaint. I called today and they said someone would get back to me. Terrible customer service.

  26. Tried Purekana’s mint-flavored CBD vape pen, was a total let-down. I’ve tried other CBD pens before and received a much better payoff. The price was too much to justify such a meager effect.

  27. I love the mint taste of this oil. I assure you that you are going to love it too. But what’s most impressive for me is the effectiveness of this oil in changing the mood. I suffer from stress, and depression and crying is part of it. But since I started this oil the first week I couldn’t cry anymore. I don’t know what happened but the only thing that was changed in my routine and diet was this oil. My mood is way better. Even if I want to cry I can’t. I was skeptical at first, but now I can see quite a difference. I don’t know what is it with this oil but for me it is working. I recommend you to try it yourself and come up with a conclusion.

  28. First order was OK. Second and last order was a disaster. I was in a hurry, and their website was glitchy, so I ended up with twice what I wanted but left it because I couldn’t wait. They charged my card immediately but didn’t ship. Finally shipped after I emailed them to complain. First told me it had already been delivered, but the tracking info showed delivery to a location in another part of the country. Offered a lousy 10% off next order. Ummm, there isn’t going to be a next order. This company should be put out of business.

  29. If you are in a customer service business a good general rule is: take care of the customer service aspect and the business aspect will take care of itself. Not happening with these guys. My first order was delayed which was no big deal, but the company sent me a 20% off “sorry for the wait” coupon. I decided to place a second order and there was no way to use the coupon. Placed the order, sent an e-mail and received a response stating that $14.75 would be credited to my account. That is about 11% not 20%. Sent another e-mail, never received a response nor did I receive any credit to my account. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!! There are plenty of other options out there that actually are interested in providing a quality product as well as decent customer service.

  30. What a scam company. I have used before and it works ok. Placed a order for oil. Double billed my credit card and still after two weeks haven’t shipped. Phones are not answered, emails auto reply only . Next call to better business bureau.

  31. I just completed my first order with this company and I can say that everything went exactly as it should have. They clearly state on their site about their shipping times so I knew what to expect. Within 2 days of placing my order I received my order completed email with USPS tracking number showing ‘Pre Shipment’. Tracking started to update within a day after that. I have read about their recent shipping issues relating to a sale they had on 4/20. Before placing an order I was told those shipping issues were resolved by them when I messaged them on IG and that appears to have been true. Took my first 25mg capsule last night and slept like a log. I also have the 1000mg vanilla oil to try as well. I am willing to give them a fair chance as they have delivered so far as to expectations. Delayed shipping doesn’t mean it’s a scam. I can understand the frustration some people may have if money is taken on a back ordered product and not being told up front about that and having to wait a very long time for something to show up. That was not my experience. I’d be interested in hearing follow up reviews from those who were initially dissatisfied with the shipping process. 4 out of 5 stars only since I haven’t used the product long enough to determine efficacy.

  32. Until this week I have been very happy with this company. I was notified by Capital One that they double charged me $185 on May 17th. I have sent multiple emails and left two voice messages to no avail. I’m giving them until the end of today and then turning it over to Capital One. I take this oil to keep my blood pressure in check and it does a great job doing that. Having to deal with them this week makes it rise. I have recommended Pure Kana to many people because of my success with it. The “sorry” letter from the CEO is meaningless! I am very disappointed! Customer service is everything!

  33. RUN do not WALK away from this company. I placed an order on April 11th but didn’t receive the product for over 11 days. Really? In this day and age? After I received the item (topical cream) for $74.00 it didn’t work. I notified the company via email. After a few days a girl replied, saying they would refund my money but they do not supply RTA#’s or labels. No worries, I said. I will use my FedEx account and request a signature. They received my return on 04-30-19 at 11:58 AM. I have sent 9 emails and tried calling customer support at all hours (the voicemail always says “call during business hours”). Until today, I was actually able to leave a voice mail. Lets see if I get a response. HAHA!! I will try filing a claim with my credit card company and I will report them to the BBB. I suffer from fibromyaglia and the creams really help. I’ve just had a hard time finding one that helps for any length of time. I finally, found another brand at my local CVS. It is working great plus the smell is better than any I’ve found.

    1. I am done with Pure Kana. Ordered $490.00 worth and never heard a word for 2 weeks! All of a sudden after I email them, they email me saying order complete on their end. But no tracking or mention of what is going on! What are you doing? I am not a valuable customer? Keep it up and you’ll be out of business! I am done with them. Buying local. I have spent thousands on their products but see ya!

  34. I ordered my cbd oil from purekana in April. Took over 3 weeks to receive it. Opened the shipping box and instantly smelled the vanilla. Then I realized that it was opened and spilled everywhere. I have sent FOUR emails and their response has been someone will contact me within 24hrs. It’s now been 3 weeks and no resolution. Very frustrated!

    1. Similar complaint. Oil did not work for me. Sent back to company for a full refund. It was received on May 24. Sent several emails inquiring about when refund will be processed. So far no response. Take care of your customers. They are your bread and butter. If your business model is ill-intended you can expect karma to get you one day. Karma is real.

  35. This company is a scam. They will charge your card and never deliver your product. They sent me a tracking number that is bs because you can not track it. Do not use this company.

  36. I have placed several orders and on ALL, I have to had to wait WEEKS for delivery. So far they have only sent items that are anything BUT oil. It’s the oil I want the most. AND, I am STILL WAITING. I ordered 3 bottles (NOT CHEAP EITHER) on April 28. Today is May 12. Still no oil. I received a letter supposedly from their CEO explaining quote, “Generally speaking, delays are not something we tolerate at PureKana, yet due to the recent demand that occurred over 420 and a few logistical issues some orders including yours were delayed.” I’m sorry…..does that “excuse” make sense to anyone out there? The “CEO” did offer me a 20% off coupon but I had used a 20% coupon anyway. While I appreciate the “CEO message”, I just want my oil. It’s funny that their system is only set up to accept orders, NOT to delete or modify them, even though all orders go through a “processing” time. Terrible service. Super long wait times but I haven’t found a product close to PureKana that both tastes great AND knocks out my knee pain – instantly. So I’ll keep waiting. A few more days though and I’m cancelling the charges on my credit card.

  37. I think you’re all buying from a copy cat company. I received my Pure Kana within 10 days of being charged. The branding on the bottle looks completely different than the “PureKana” that’s on this thread. Double check and make sure it’s the original and legit Pure Kana.

  38. Initiate a chargeback through your credit card provider/ bank. You can do it online by locating the charge on your statement. Took me about 2 minutes to fill out. Initiating a chargeback kills the companies business credit and you should also get you money back, unless the company can prove otherwise. As most of you know, these guys can’t!

    1. I just received my product of the pure kana CBD oil in 300mg, and it does no effects to me. I literally dropped 10 drops under my tongue for over a minute each and still nothing. I don’t think this is real CBD.

  39. Wish I read the reviews here before purchasing 300mg mint. Like so many others here, card was changed but product was not sent. It’s been almost two weeks and I’m loosing hope that Ill ever see the product. Several attempts to contact company have gone unanswered. Trust me, this is not a company you can count on.

  44. I placed my order on April 25th. My card was charged immediately. On April 27, I received an email with a tracking number and said my order has been completed. When I enter my tracking number it says it hasn’t even been shipped yet! No response to numerous emails and phone calls. Terrible customer service. Don’t waste your time or money!

  45. $54 was debited from my account on April 19th but I’ve yet to receive my order. I was told it was out of stock, back-ordered, and then in the process of being shipped. More recently, I’ve received no response to my e-mails. I’m beyond disappointed as I can’t afford to spend money on a product I haven’t received. I pray this company stands by it’s promises and I receive my oil or a refund if necessary. I’ve had much heartache and stress this past year. Please Purekana. Please do the right thing.

I ordered more than 2 weeks ago and paid close to $100 for my order. 8 days ago I was told it was ready to be shipped and was given a shipping number. 8 days later it’s still sitting in the warehouse. When I emailed asking where my order was I got a generic response to the effect “we are experiencing a higher than normal volume of emails so there maybe a delay in responding to your email”. I can’t say anything about their product since I haven’t received it but their customer service and shipping is absolutely the worst. I am considering filing a complaint with my credit card company. Shop elsewhere unless you dont mind them sitting on your money for several weeks. Some people say they received their orders fast. I think that’s because certain products like gummies are in stock while bottled oils are not.

  47. Customer service is the worst of any company I’ve ever dealt with. It took TWELVE DAYS for the company to process my order. I called and left a message inquiring about the status as well as sending in an email. Neither communication was acknowledged. With an expected three days shipping this puts their turnaround time at over two weeks. Get your act together!

  49. Beware: today is May 1th. This is my order #PK-233574 was placed on April 20th and it is currently processing. I have contacted customer service and no response. It’s a joke.

  50. After 13 days my order is still showing “processing.” My card was charged immediately however. I have left numerous phone calls and emailed three times to no avail. I am starting to think they may be out of business. I have filed a complaint with the BBB. Really crappy customer service at the very least. Charlotte’s Web is the way to go for CBD.

  51. Ordered 4 weeks ago, just received my tracking number and it is still in the “pre-shipment” phase. Website claims product arrives 5-10 business days. I have waited well beyond that and the item still has yet to ship. I am extremely frustrated and tried numerous times to reach out to customer service and cancel but I have only ever received a copy/paste response that they will get back to me and never do.   52. Ordered on April 19th and after several emails to customer service, just now received a tracking number only. It is April 30th and product hasn’t even shipped though they gladly took my money. I will rate the oil if I ever receive it but would recommend people look elsewhere as their customer service is horrible. I ordered some oil from Hempworx a week after and received it in 5 days. PureKana is a poorly run company.

  53. Had a very horrible experience with Purekana. I ordered the gummies which says 20 servings clearly on their website and when I received the bottle it says 10 servings on the nutritional facts. So I reached out to customer service and they try to explain to me how 10 servings is actually 20 cause some people only eat 1 gummy and not 2. Then it needs to be advertised that way and not saying it’s 20 servings on your website to make sales and get customers money. They did not even apologize for it and just said send it back for a refund. I would not trust anything this company sells and suggest anyone looking at their products to go spend your money with a reputable company that doesn’t lie to customers and actually values them.

I emailed customer service as it had not shipped for an adjustment and they said sorry nothing they can do. Too many companies out there that offer products that treat anxiety.   55. I received it within 3 weeks. I bought it for my fibro and anxiety. First night it must have been a placebo effect because I slept but still woke up off and on with pain. Migraines are back, fibromyalgia is worse MOST OF ALL MY MEMORY AND COGNITIVE PROBLEMS HAVE SHOWN UP THAT WERE NEVER THERE BEFORE! I’ve stayed with it until today I thought I’d better look it up. I had no idea about where it actually comes from WHO NOW HAS MY CARD NUMBER! Seems they’ve lied about everything. Oh yes what the site said and the box and bottle, none matched. I too will be going to Amazon but never again with this company!

I also ordered some gummies that I have yet to try. I don’t understand the low ratings of this company because my ordering experience was great.

  59. The customer service is abysmal! They will readily take payment from your credit card company, but then fail to deliver product. I have spent approximately 2 hours per day for the last five days trying to reach company. I have called over 30 times, and spoke with a human twice. Each time I was promised a call back from a manager. I never received a call. I have also sent multiple emails, even providing proof of payment. I feel this company is poorly run with little to no customer service.

Next morning had terrible memory problems, felt disconnected and confused. Could not find any reviews on the internet from anyone reporting similar problems. But the CBD was the only thing different from my normal routine. So I have to conclude that was the cause. Will not risk a recurrence, so I guess CBD is not for me.

  62. Very good products. Clear and pure. Shipping is free. I have been on CBD oil for a year now. My health is so much better. My swelling has disappeared and pain level dropped tremendously. I have had rheumatoid arthritis for a over 20 years and this stuff is wonderful. I would recommend it to everyone. I sleep like a baby. I get 8 to 10 hours sleep a night it’s wonderful.

  63. I haven’t noticed the product working. The product arrived two weeks after I ordered it. I ordered the 300mg mint oil. It leaked before I opened the container. The shipping box was stained with the leaking oil. I called the company during business hours but they didn’t answer and never returned my call. Anyway, I’m willing to overlook it if the product helped my anxiety, but it hasn’t at all. I notice zero impact, and I’ve been steadily increasing the dose. So I’m searching for a new company with better customer service and a product that is effective.

An hour before going to bed, I took 1/2 dropper. I was amazed to awaken this morning having slept well all night for the first time ever! I slept deeply and dreamed. I awoke a few times to use the restroom but was able to drop easily back to sleep. So awesome! I did not take my usual unisom + klonipin for the first time ever, which only helped for part of the night and never gave me this restful sleep. I am so amazed that I experienced what most people take for granted: a really restful sleep! After one try, I experienced amazing results. Hoping for rest every night from now on.   66. I have serious neck pain. I bought PureKana CBD oil and the results were less than rewarding. However, I have found it useful for anxiety, sleep aid and headache relief (not migraine). I tried the cream on my neck as a sample in the shopping mall yesterday and had an immediate reduction in pain. Not entirely but such that I was able to move my neck with only slight pain. I am willing to try it again.

  69. I ordered the 1000mg PureKana CBD oil vanilla flavor on the Black Friday deal, which was a super price. Shipped to Canada with no problem other than a few days delay at customs. I have tried a few brands and have been finding that nothing really relieves my neck pain, maybe I’m just immune. I was hoping with the amazing reviews that this would help me but it did not. Plus I found the taste and smell of this oil overpoweringly sickening. I have loved the flavor of others with terpenes but maybe I had a bad batch as I don’t see anybody else having this problem. After two days I was unable to take it orally anymore due to the sickening flavor so I have tried to rub it into my neck and now the smell is following me around for the day.

  70. I ordered the highest potency bottle of vanilla CBD oil from PureKana over a month ago. The product arrived in a reasonable amount of time, but arrived with the order slip/receipt of somebody else in a different state with a different order. Then I noticed on the label of the bottle that it says 1000mg, the highest potency which is what I ordered and paid for. But on the back of the label the numbers on the nutrition facts conflict with the front. It says there is 7.5mg per serving and 40 servings in the container… 7.5*40=300mg! Not 1000 like the front says. I have been taking this daily for a month and have not experienced any positive side effects at all. If anything, it has given me negative effects.

Two different labels same name… I unfortunately ordered and it took forever to receive and just to speak to a customer service rep… took 50 min of waiting. I was told my subscription that I never agreed to would be canceled. Now I am afraid to try the product. The real Pure Kana company has gummy “bears” but the fake Pure Kana has gummy “cubes”…scared to try them for my pain.

  81. Kana is my fourth brand of CBD oil I’ve tried and this stuff is bad. I have serious doubts whether this product is pure CBD oil as it gives me side effects that mimic being poisoned. It makes me extremely dizzy like I’ve consumed a bottle of alcohol, nauseating headaches and shooting pains down my back/kidney area after taking a small amount.   82. I purchased CBD oil for neck and back pain but so far it hasn’t made a difference. I have been using it about a week. I also purchased the dog treats, chicken and blueberry, for my black lab who suffers from seizures. I have read on multiple sites that it has a calming effect on dogs. He is on a seizure diet and is kept out of the heat (which predisposes him to seizure activity) so I was excited for him to try the treats. He loves them, but they are so hard he has trouble chewing them. He is big so he gets 3 at a time. I have tried soaking them in water to soften them up but to no avail.

I’ve been using the drops for about 3 months, and the pain is still gone. More than pleased with PureKana!!

I just realized my body and mind were relaxed and my anxiety had subsided. I soon began to wean myself off Lexapro, dropping from 20mg daily to 5mg with a plan to be off of it in another week or so. Insomnia. I first tried 15 drops a couple of hours before bedtime but did not sleep great and felt “cloudy” the next day. Dropped dose to 7 drops and found my dose. I’m sleeping well and stopped taking melatonin. Good product. I’m still experimenting a bit but I can say it’s working for me. I’m pleasantly surprised.

  100. I have been using Pure Kana’s CBD drops, pills and topical ointments for more than 6 months. I can move again! Rids me of joint paint from osteoarthritis. I take a pill in the am and the pm and a few drops midday. Before working out, I rub some on my joints…amazing. A couple of months into ordering, there was a shortage and I had to wait a while for the pills, but since then, I receive my order a few days after I put it in. Great product!

The first time I had ordered I received first a confirmation purchase email and then followed a few hours later by a processing confirmation email. So far it’s been 6 days with another weekend coming up now on which Kana doesn’t do orders or support. It’ll be at least 8 days from my initial order until I hear what happened. Not to mention until I receive my order (if I do). This is a company that doesn’t offer expedited shipping (one way to tell who’s legit about fulfilling.) When I went to contact the support number listed on their website, after ringing for a minute, it went to a voicemail box that was completely full.   104. I’ve tried their CBD oil, and a taking a few drops each day for a couple of weeks did absolutely nothing for my stress and anxiety. This led me to do a little research on CBD oil and the appropriate dosage to relieve anxiety. I came across a few scholarly studies that recommend anywhere between 300 mg and 600 mg. But based on what I’ve read, 300 mg is the recommended starting dose. I was surprised to learn this because PureKana suggests a few drops of their CBD oil to relieve stress and anxiety. This isn’t anywhere near what’s recommended by the studies. I emailed PureKana with my concerns more than once, but I only received a few emails with canned responses that did nothing to address my questions. It makes me think this company likes to package their product as a high quality offering, without actually understanding what it is they’re selling. Or if they do, they’re certainly not willing to share information with their consumers. I have to think it’s because 300 mg is an ENTIRE bottle of their product, and at $54 for 300 mg, the treatment is cost prohibitive. In some cases, it’s astronomically more than pharmaceuticals that treat stress and anxiety which flies in the face of their marketing claims that CBD oil is an affordable treatment for anything. More than anything, I’m disappointed by their meager response to my concerns. I really want a natural treatment for my stress and anxiety, but it won’t be PureKana products. Before posting this review, I waited several months to hear from them, and they never got back to me. This only reinforces the notion they’re in it for the money, and have absolutely no desire to provide a quality product that does what it claims.

  105. I purchased the CBD gummies after reading a good review on marijuanabreak. When I received an international charge on my credit card, I decided to dig deeper to make sure this company was legit. This brought me to this page and my gut sank when I read all the negative reviews and lots of folks not getting their orders. I was ready to report them to my credit card and mentally cut them at a loss of $33, but I decided to give them a week or 2 to see what would happen. In the meantime, I found them on FB with similar issues with orders but at least someone was responding to the complaints. I asked about my international charge and was told it was due to regulations their processing center is in the UK. She responded fairly quickly and I felt a little at ease that at least someone was accessible w/ the co. And to my pleasant surprise, I received my order w/in maybe less than 2 weeks from when I ordered–even received an email tracking. I hope this is a sign they are catching up to their order demands and are working improving customer relations. And so far the gummies have been working for me. Hope others have good luck as well.   107. I started out taking one whole gummy twice per day. The first day I took it, I got a massive migraine headache and had to take imitrex (sumatriptan) to make it go away. So the second day, I cut the gummy in half and only ate one half every 4-5 hours. But every day for 5 days straight, I got a horrible headache about an hour after taking the gummy. Then I ran an experiment and did not take a gummy in the morning. I was headache free, so I decided to try my luck and take half a gummy. Sure enough, an hour later I got a horrible headache. I’m so disappointed that I’m going to have to discontinue use due to this terrible side effect.

    I’m curious the reason it gives me headaches is because I read that cbd oil is a vasodilator. And the only medicine that takes my headaches away is a vasoconstrictor. I was taking the gummies for a mild case of tourettes syndrome. I have a blinking tic that bothers me. I couldn’t really tell if it was helping the tic or not.

  110. Well, this company came recommended to me by my chiropractor. I guess had I read these reviews beforehand about their mailing problems I might not have ordered from PureKana. But as it happened I was sitting in my car waiting for my grand-daughter to get out of school and took that opportunity to go ahead and place my order. I’m sorry so many people had problems with the company. I did not. I ordered it on a Saturday. They shipped on Monday and I received it on Thursday. I’m fine with that. It’s not Amazon Prime you know. I ordered the 300mg which is what they recommended to start with. I would like to see something written about how often it can be taken and how long before it takes effect. But I guess everyone is dealing with different reasons for taking it. I’m hoping it will help me with the chronic pain in my lower back. I took a half dropperful as soon as I got it which was about a half hour ago and maybe it’s my imagination but I just got up and walked around and my back really feels way better already. My boyfriend said no way. That it will take a week or so but I don’t think so. I might up the dose with the next bottle though. Maybe if some is good, more is better!

  112. I placed a large first-time order based on the recommendation of a friend. I had a coupon code and forgot to use it. When I couldn’t find a phone number on their website, I sent an email within an hour of placing the order asking them to apply the 15% discount. Their automated reply said I would hear from them within one business day. Never heard from them. I was not upset with them for my forgetfulness, but I was upset with no reply. The courteous thing to do was to let me know it was too late to apply the discount. They shipped within one or two days so that was good, but I don’t think I will buy from them again. My decision is partly based on my experience with poor customer service and no way to contact them; and partly based on the other reviews of similar shortcomings in their customer service. They not only lost my business, but my sister’s as well (based on my experience with CBD oil she is going to try it), and the friend who recommended PureKana to me. I’m sure there are other companies who do give their phone number and do give good customer service.

I could not find lab results on PureKana’s website anywhere. I tried my first dose today. The flavor is awesome. Probably too soon to tell if it helps with my chronic pain.

They had ample time to cancel and yet they contacted right before it was shipped! Their website was not operating properly so their orders did not go through. They lied to me! They claim they sent the item and now I must talk to them about return! I have never encountered suck unscrupulous vendors in MY LIFE and I am 63 years old! This will not end well. I contacted the BBB even though they are not a member. But they messed and stole money from the wrong person!

I made the mistake of checking the return policy after I had purchase and tried the product. You can’t return the product if you’ve opened it and if its unopened you can return it with a 35% restocking fee and you pay all shipping costs.   133. Let me tell you what i know. The Purekana I buy is $140$ for one fluid ounce. It is 1000mg pure CBD. When I put 15 drops under my tongue I can feel it literally making my mouth dry in real time and my muscles relax. In real time i can feel it work. I have tried Bluebird Botanicals, Elixinol, along with a host of very expensive but far lesser products. Bluebird is amazing too. It’s just far less CBD per bottle, and also a lot cheaper. The Elixinol was capsules and i literally could not tell it was working and it was very expensive. I have Charlotte’s Web CBD on the way. To be honest, they haven’t kept me informed which is another problem I do not have ever with Purekana. If you are using CBD to treat MS or shaking or pain, Purekana can be felt to work as you hold it under your tongue. PureKana is at the top of the CBD pyramid friends. Yes, it takes them a few days to get the order out. Yes, they use USPS. So make sure you order at LEAST 10 days before you run out. But you get what you pay for with the more expensive 1000mg bottle. It only takes like 5 drops but you can take more if you need it. For thehe record I have a condition that causes moderate to severe shaking in the face hands and legs. I also have muscle weakness, muscle wasting, and trouble with vision, balance and reflexes as well as understandable depression.

  135. I ordered the 300 mg bottle of vanilla CBD oil from PureKana. Took a longer time to get than advertised. When I sent an email requesting the status of my order they said that they were out of stock and waiting for replacement. Interesting that they sent it out the very next day. When I received it I was very concerned that it was a completely clear liquid. No color whatsoever. I have used another brand and and it was golden color as it should be. I thought I would take a chance on PureKana but I am sorry I did. Their product has not done anything for me. I think they are just sending hemp oil and labeling it as CBD. Sorry but this company is a scam. Don’t order from them. Save your money or at least buy from a legitimate company.

    1. Barbara, this is exactly what happened to me. I used a brand I purchased at the health store in town and it worked great, but the pure PureKana was a waste. I was however very fortunate as I emailed them and complained requesting a refund. they refunded all of the money. I ask for an address to send their oil back to but they said to just keep it. It didn’t do me any good so a friend ask for it and I let her have it. I will not ever buy from them again and I also received a liquid that poured like water and was as clear as could be. Good luck on finding a good product.

  136. Ordered this last week, 300 mg strength bottle. For the first couple of days I felt it was helping my sleep and anxiety issues. I felt calmer after taking a dose, I wasn’t as hurried and stressed as usual so that’s a definite plus. Then I noticed some minty indigestion. After the indigestion came cramps and diarrhea. For 3 nights I’ve woken up in the early hours of the morning with this. This is the only new addition to my routine. I’m trying to give it a chance but if the stomach issues persist sadly I may have to find an alternate cbd product. If tolerable the benefits are there, but with a sensitive stomach perhaps better off with a tincture instead of an oil.

  143. I ordered a 300mg bottle on 2/26/18 and received it intact and as expected on 3/10/18. That’s two business weeks which is longer than we’ve come to expect in this world of Amazon Prime shipping. But isn’t all that bad in the grand scheme of things. I have taken 2 sublingual doses so far and haven’t noticed if the effects are the same as the other brand I have been using. I take about 4mg sublingually 3x a day for anxiety. If I notice any change in effectiveness I will update my review, but so far so good. I wonder if the company had a surge in order volume and is having trouble keeping up?

I use the 1000mg tincture 3 to 4 times a day. I have anxiety so I feel I need to use it more often than twice a day. Purekana has helped me more than anything else I’ve tried. That includes prescribed medication. It’s a life saver.

  149. Ordered over two weeks ago and still no CBD oil. The one item I did receive (topical) was packaged terrible and falling out of the envelope. Customer service is awful. Their phone number doesn’t work and when emailing I never get a proper or professional correspondence. No name of the rep, run-on sentences, and they are stating things that are opposite of what their website states. I asked for refund and they say they are unable to refund me and keep offering free products and coupons. They say they are based in CA but they ship from NJ. They also say they are the manufacturer but they are waiting on their shipments of the product. I feel this company is very shady and will never order from them again.

  151. This seems like a mint-flavored placebo oil to me. I have experienced no positive benefits from the 300mg oil, and it has given me stomach issues. My pain is still through the roof, so I am frustrated that I have to spend more money in search of something else. I am glad this has helped others, but it definitely is not working for me.

Early last year I started using medical marijuana to help my insomnia. Even though it’s legal in California. It’s still illegal federally. If I get tested for THC I could lose my job or not be able to get a job. So I started looking for another solution. I came across this product online and decide to try it out. Well I love it. Been only using for 3 days only. Whenever I want to sleep. I just pop it and within an hour or two I’m tired and ready for bed. I only take it at night because it make me sleepy. Anyway I use the 20% discount. So I think the price I pay for it was good. $60 for a month worth of pills. Not bad compared to a vape pen that only might last a week for the same price. I have no issues with the shipment even though I order mine on New Year’s Eve. I guess I got lucky. It arrived a day earlier then it said it would. Overall I’m happy with this product.

I just found out that I should only do 5 drops a day, then work my way up. I can’t believe that this company would allow someone to go through what I went through.   158. I have paid but still haven’t received my shipment. I contacted the company who “appreciated” my patience in continuing to await my order 10 days later. I requested a cancellation of my order stating that I would take my business elsewhere. I was informed that my order way too far in the process and could not be canceled. However, the next day I received a shipment tracking number which is nothing more than a created label that has never reached the post office. I doubt they offered Black Friday specials which is what caused a delay in my order a week later. My sister placed an order minutes before me and she received her order a couple days ago. But mine still has yet to arrive at the post office. Their policy is clearly stated on their website that “items ship within 1-5 days” yet mine has not shipped in nearly 2 weeks. I was offered a 20% discount which I have not seen yet either! Very bad business!

  165. Pure Kana has helped my arthritis pain. I started with the 300 mg bottle of mint (15 drops twice a day sublingually) and graduated to the 1000 mg bottle of mint (5 drops twice a day sublingually) to get a little more CBD bang for my buck. The mint flavor is very mild but does a good job of masking any unpleasant hemp flavor. Pure Kana is not inexpensive but I am willing to pay for the pleasant taste and expect to pay more for being non-GMO, organic and a solvent-free extraction. I started using Pure Kana’s CBD ointment upon waking for my neck arthritis and the pain relief is nearly immediate.
