Drug tests are typically looking to detect the presence of THC, the psychoactive ingredient in marijuana. “Full spectrum” CBD hemp oil (the majority of what is available) contains only trace amounts of THC (less than 0.3%) so generally does not result in a positive drug test but it is possible.
If you want a lower risk of testing positive on a drug test, you may want to consider products made from pure CBD isolate since they have no THC. But isolates may not be as effective as a “full spectrum” product depending on the condition that you are treating.
Also be advised that some drug tests are now looking for the presence of CBD and other cannabinoids in addition to THC. So the bottom line is that if there is always some risk of testing positive on a drug test if you are using any CBD oil products.
